Hold Force Testing On Every Magnet We Offer

Magnetics In Motion Co. partners only with manufacturers who meet our quality standards.

Each lifting magnet is rigorously tested prior to packaging and shipping.  It must withstand a hold force test of 3 to 3.5 times its stated hold value for high carbon flat steel under ideal conditions. Most tool suppliers do not offer this safety ratio in the lifting magnets they sell.

Hold Force Testing is a valuable method to determine the magnets' holding value but it is only to be used as a guide to indicate how much weight the magnet can lift.  We know "ideal conditions" do not exist in the normal workplace. In our Pricing and Solutions section we offer an example of how to choose the correct lift magnet based on the specific metal and application involved.

We work closely with our manufacturers to ensure customers will be offered the most up-to-date product information available in their decision-making process.  Being well informed with our various manufacturers product lines is instrumental in making the right choice when weighing a multitude of factors and conditions involved in lift applications.

We listen to our customers knowing their needs are primary and provide prompt, knowledgeable and friendly service.
